Teenagers are important...

The teenage years might be likened to the trapeze act at a circus. It is one of the most exciting times of the circus, but also one of the most dangerous times. The teenagers of Bible Baptist Church are important to God and to our assembly. We believe that the role of the local church in the Home is reenforce biblical parenting.  We want to assist godly parents with their God given responsibility to train up their children in the way they should go. Therefore, the centerpiece of BBC's youth ministry is focused Bible teaching on truth relevant to a young Christian! We want to partner with godly parents in our church to help teach their teenagers how to apply God’s Word today, so that they can live godly lives in a culture that targets them with a false worldview.

Get plugged in...

Our teens are taught to serve, rather than simply be served. We want to encourage our teenagers to get involved in the various ministries of the church, as they exercise their spiritual gift. However, we do realize the desire that each of them has to fellowship with other teenagers in a wholesome environment. For this reason we have activities where they can come and have an exciting time of clean fun, fellowship, and faithful teaching. We encourage them to come and participate, in these activities while under the supervision of godly adults.

Investing in our young people...

We are investing in our young people’s lives in every biblical way to train them in the "way they should go." Certainly we seek to evangelize the lost, equip, and edify the saved by using a variety of activities, youth outreach, and preaching.

Our mindset, behind all of this, is to involve teenagers in such a way that will help them grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially; but in a God-honoring atmosphere. We beleive that a teen should follow the pattern given by our Saviour’s teenage years where Luke 2:52 says that He "increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man."
