Youth Ministry
Our teenagers are important
The teenagers of Bible Baptist Church are important to all of us. A faithful man and his wife oversees the entire youth program. The centerpiece of the youth ministry is solid Bible teaching! Teens are taught to serve, rather than simply be served.
Get plugged in
We want to encourage our teenagers to get “plugged in.” We wish to see them serving in our ministry, also, as they exercise their spiritual gift. However, we do realize the need each of them has to fellowship with other teenagers in a wholesome environment. Thus, we have regular activities where they can come and have an exciting time of fun, fellowship, and faithful teaching. We encourage them to come and participate, inviting some of their friends to come along, while under the supervision of godly adults.
Investing in our young people
We are investing in our young people’s lives in every biblical way to train them in the “way they should go.” The youth director seeks to evangelize, equip, and edify the teenagers here, using a variety of activities, youth outreach, and preaching; however, this is not enough. The role of the loving mother and father can really not be replaced. The goal of our youth director is to assist each home by ministering to each teenager as effectively as possible.
Youth must be involved
Our mindset, behind all of this, is to involve teenagers in such a way that will help them grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially; but in a God-honoring atmosphere. In order for a teen to sense an ownership of their youth group, they must be involved. A youth must be involved in the fun activities but also in the service opportunities.
Our youth director
Our youth director is not merely an activity coordinator...he is a youth “shepherd” concerned for the overall needs of each young person and burdened to see God use our teens to impact their world.
